My name is Doug and I am a falconer from the coast of North Carolina. I fly a male/ female pair of harris hawks at mostly squirrels.

Hey Doug,

(welc) to NAFEX ! I will be in Manteo on 1/6 again at a speaking engagement. Was videoing in manteo on 12/13-14 for a black bear hunting DVD project were working on. Have 8 bears over 400lbs with 5 being over 500lbs and a 708lbs bruin! Last 46 years only 10 bears have been recorded over 700lbs. You guys got some big black bears!

Do you ever attend any of the NCFG events?

Hey Brent - Yeah - we've got some bears and lots of land for them to roam.
Where in Manteo were you?

I get to about 2 of the meets a year, generally the ones from Raleigh East.

I'll be at Lillington this year, and I'm debating going to Clancy's in Feb.

Where will you be speaking on the 6th? If you want we might be able to go hawking that weekend.
