Fabulous photos. Especially the falcons with prey and the interaction between the pair and their eyasses.

My wife and I walked below these cliffs in 1964-1965 searching for a report of a peregrine wintering there. Historically they nested along these five miles of cliff. Then we found the perching location of the reported adult with dried pigeon wings and parts. But did not see the adult. On the return walk to our car, an immature tercel flew over the cliff top in one circle and then not again. A climb to the top did not find him. In my early years of searching for nesting peregrines in California, this was to be the only place I saw a peregrine at a former eyrie.
Today, this same five mile stretch holds three nesting pairs. Will Sooter takes photos yearly there. He lives in the area and not a falconer. Some of the finest photos of nesting peregrines I have seen.

The music is John Barry's from " Out Of Africa ", the movie.
