Hello Zacch and welcome to NAFEX.(welc)

Please have a look around and familiarize yourself with how the forums work. One forum that most people find the most useful is the site information (http://www.nafex.net/forumdisplay.php?f=26). This is where you can learn to post photos (first thing almost everybody wants to know).

If you are a pre-apprentice, apprentice, looking for information of falconry, etc...you will find this section extremely helpful. Please take the time to look here (http://www.nafex.net/showthread.php?t=2007).

Again, welcome to NAFEX! Let one of the moderators know if you need anything.

Zacch this is what you need, hook up with Dale and go out with him and see if this is something you'll be able to do as far as your work and free time for caring for the bird. Dale will be able to show and telll you what all it takes. Good luck!!!!!!

Yea that is exactly what I plan on doing. I have a job that I get off work usually by 3:30 and am home by 4. I live in a really quite neighborhood with 4 kids that are really into hunting, fishing and just being outside. They are really excited about hunting with a hawk. I am really excited about taking them with me. I am currently talking with three guys that own huge farms just down the road from my house. Been reading and trying to get a california study guide off ebay but have not won one yet.

I just love it when falconry becomes a family activity. What a great way to spend time with your kids. Have fun.
