I have a male, French Brittany Spaniel. His kennel name is 'Ike.'
Look up French Brittany's on the internet. Think a brittany with the fur of a tri-color english setter. Beautiful!
Excellent blood-lines, purchased 6 years ago for use on feather and fur but only used on fur with Red-tails and Harris'. Ranges closer than an American Brittany.
NOT house-broken.
NOT eager to meet new people but warms up to them quickly enough.
Still acts like a puppy so might be a bit too rough with very small children.
A joy to be around but ... we are moving into an apartment for a bit of Recession Recovery time. Did I mention he is not house-broken?
Ike respects raptors and loves rabbits and squirrel hunting. Very loyal. Very affectionate. Very obedient to whoa and back and such. No hand-shaking or rolling over tricks.
Are you a hunting falconer looking for a field companion? Ike is in Wisconsin but loves to travel!
