Problems making pics viewable in posts

I am ready to start populating a thread with a few photos, but I am unsure as to how to reveal the photos as viewable within the post. PhotoBucket has several copying options:
1. Direct link,
2.html code,
3. image code,
3. thumb code

Any info as to which to use to make the pics viewable in the post?
