These aren't great pics but I thought I'd share anyway. I was supposed to be at work at 9:00 but was up at 5:00 and needng my weekend fix. So about eightish I tossed the dogs and the bird in the truck and went behind the house.
First sight and first flight we had one in the bag. I feel so inadequate, It's like my animals don't even need me. :D

The first pic has my Tazy taking a sharp left, the Jack is behind the sage, the hound is at mid left and the bird is NOT in the pic but is coming in from the far left. I know, this pic sucks.
The next one is on scene. I posted them because I was so excited to have gone out and back within the hour.

Thanks guys! I didn't do much except take bad photos and carry the kill to the truck but I'll pass the praise on to the team.

Those Jacks are grouping up now. The hound kicked up four more just while I was transfering the RT off of the kill. This guy cruised right by us with a slow old Coon Hound about 50 yards behind.

Robert,

I don't think there is a better match up than a RT and a jack. Thanks for sharing.

I agree, I really think that we should hunt these bird to their full potential.
