Problem posting pictures

I'm trying to post a few photos using the attachment from the tool bar like I have done in the past but now it keeps saying "Not a valid image file". Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Sound like the problem I'm having with avatars but nobody has responded yet.

Yeah, I just tried it and it gives the message "This is not a valid image!". Hey Chris! LOL

Personally, I still use Photobucket to post my pictures as I know the burden and space it puts on Chris and his host.

I will take a look at it this evening. I'm sure it has to do with where the files are being stored.

Ok I think I have it fixed. Try uploading your new avatars. remember to look at the minimum file size as well.

Why does it say at the bottom of my forum page i cant post attachments.
Is there anything else i need to do, iv managed to place an intro ok. And an avatar picture.

You can not post attachments unless you are a supporting member. You have to use photobucket or similar site. Just copy and paste the image tag.

There is a size limit...can't remember what it is, but can you try downsizing a pic and seeing if it loads?

I had previously been posting pictures from an earlier camera. The new pictures that would not post were over 2 meg. When I downsized to 650 K they posted. So the limit is somewhere below 2 meg.
