Server Speed

Is the NAFEX server really slow lately, or is it just on my end? It seems to take forever to load pages here, I think it started a few weeks ago when the site was down for a day. This is the only site that I frequent where speed is an issue, anyone else experiencing this?

It has been hit or miss for me. Sometimes pages load normally and sometime I give up waiting.

Yeah, I have noticed it too! And I am pretty sure it isn't an issue with a lot of folks being on at the same time because it was really slow last night at 4 a.m. Chris probably needs to contact the host and see if something is going on.

On mine too. Seems to start to load then stalls and has to think for quite a while in most cases. I'm suspecting a java issue somewhere along the line external to our computers.

Sometimes it seems to freeze up and I can jump to another site, come back in a few minutes and it's fine.

Slow here again too. I was just posting and it snagged up when I hit submit, but when I clicked again it went through. Might have just been timing, but I have noticed lately that sometimes if I double click it does move things forward...if that helps at all.

Hey guys sorry for the late reply. I am not in town to diagnose the problem. I have not been on in a few days but it seems fine to me? I will be back Sunday to run all of the checkups and see if I see anything that may be causing it

Hey guys, I'm trying to nail down this issue but am having trouble finding the issue. I've made a couple database tweaks just now and the forum seems normal to me speed wise...although I have yet to be able to observe any sort of slow down that Chris has reported to me :(

Don't be upset with Chris we are working on it. It would be helpful if you could paste an error messages you receive so I could review them for clues.

I have yet to receive any error messages, just when you go to load a page it's very slow.

-address page changes
-then down in the browser status line it says "waiting for nafex.net to respond" for very long periods. Eventually it loads or times out and it's not consistent.

same w/mine plus I get error msg "unable to.. or error...." 3 or 4 times before I can get pix posted lately i.e. the last few days. when I try to diagnose problem, it comes back "unable to find problem" If it happens again, I'll sure paste it up.
