Merlin Shark Skinned Hood Saver

Just finished, a Hood Saver to hold merlin sized hoods up to female Cooper hawk. The Merlin Hoods are vintage Clayton Smith hoods that are in my collection. A Big Thank you goes out to the Crazy Cajun Chris C, these hides are as tough as Nails, a bitch to sew but they will last forever. Mewskeeper was nice enough to send my a few more hides so should have enough to make 3-4 more depending on the size. Pictured along side the Shark is one of my Designer savers for Redtail and large falcon hoods.

cool. shark skin's tough stuff. Used for sandpaper at one time. Haven't seen any for years, and then it was grey...should long outlast the hood inside.

It is for sure tough Rich,, I had an old pair of shark cowboy boots that I had for a decade and the skin looked as good as new when buffed and shined.
I am offering three sizes of Savers,

SMALL- for merlin to Female Coop,
Medium-Female Coop to large Male Peregrine
Large- Female Peregrine to Female Redtail/Gyr.
I have many different hides available, Shark, Ostrich, Iguana and Monitor in a Plethora(new word of the day) of designs and colors.

Agreed the Rattle snake would look cool I am working on a Red Python which will be really striking as well. I only have the two rattlesnake hides for small savers, not sure I can get more.

Shark is Sold OUT but the Ostrich ones are striking and I will be having a sale on a few Designer Savers that I have left from the Meet, they are all large sized savers, PM if you are interested.
