I heard the chickens give their warning call and a couple of my pigeons hightailed out of the country.

This guy has been terrorizing the local pigeon lofts and abandoned barns all winter, I hadn't seen him since X-mas week.

Had a lady call me this week about a "strange" bird in her fish pond. I went over and it was a gorgeous female coop. I think it was eating fish. It was feather perfect too! Just beautful and sitting there calmly.

Yeah, we're pretty lucky to have such a wide variety of raptors close by. A friend of mine had this tiercel gos (I assume it's the same one) visit his pigeons yesterday, he lives about 4 miles away, as the gos flys. Over the holidays I saw a sharpie, a merlin, and a gos in my yard all before noon - that was a record for really cool raptors.
