Jim:
I am truly sorry to hear of your misfortune. It is truly a sad day for all of us in the sport. Try and remember the good time you had with Tess. I also had one sir-come the same way. It will always be in the back of your mind. But you will have to move on. Nice looking Beagle!

I was hunting with Jim at the time and I've never seen Tess fly so well. Jim, Tess and the dogs had evolved into a real team that was a joy to watch. I know what Jim put into that bird and he can be proud of what he accomplished. Bob W

Jim,

My very first red-tail was electrocuted, so I know how you feel! I am not ashamed to admit, I cried like a baby! But I got right back up and trapped another red-tail that first year and she caught a bunch of squirrels and I made it through that first year. This year, I had a merlin that caught its first head of game and that sparrow turned out to be poisoned and the merlin was dead the next day. The highs of falcorny are unbelievably high, but oh those lows are soooo low! When I think of my merlin, I just picture her chasing down that sparrow across that field and catching it. As far as I am concerned, that is the last picture of her I will always have in my mind. In falconry, there are always good times ahead!
