The Colorado hawking club will be holding our fall campout at Jackson Lake state park near Wiggins, CO on Sept 19th to 21st. The plan is to do some hawking and trapping Saturday and Sunday morning. The area has decent numbers of Jackrabbits, cottontails, and pheasants. This is also the second weekend of early teal season so their will be ample quarry for long or short wings. The added bonus this year is we will be having a pig roast Saturday night. This is worth the drive out from Denver alone!
All are welcome but we would like participants to join the club of course.
We're hoping to have a good turnout.
FYI you will need to have either a day pass or annual parks pass to get to the campsite.
