Levitation Delta Kite - Light Weight- High Aspect Delta Kite- 3-18 MPH Wind http://www.westernsporting.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/Levitation-Delta-Light-Kite-9ft-HR.jpg

Levitation Delta Kite - Light Weight

Kite Size:9'-0" x 4'-7"
Use 50 - 75 lb. dacron line
Wind Range: 3 - 18 mph

A nearly weightless, stiff carbon frame lets the 9-ft. Levitation Delta Light soar in the gentlest breezes. Made of lightweight 40-denier ripstop nylon, it has an oversized keel and trailing edge flap for stability. The light, stiff carbon frame allows the Delta Light kite to fly in less wind. Flies well between 10-15 mph winds for falconry purposes.

Levitation Delta Kite - High Aspect Delta Kite- 4-20 MPH Wind http://www.westernsporting.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/Levitation-Delta-Kite-9ft-HR.jpg

Levitation Delta Kite -

Kite Size:9'-0" x 4'-7"
Use 75 - 100 lb. dacron line
Wind Range: 4 - 20 mph

A gentle flier in light winds, the 9-ft Levitation Delta has a manageable pull when the wind picks up. Made of lightweight 40-denier ripstop nylon with a fiberglass frame, it has an oversized keel and trailing edge flap for stability. In light winds, bigger is definitely better. Our 9-ft. delta kite hits a sweet spot. A gentle floater in light winds, it has a manageable pull when the wind comes up.This kite flies well around 20 mph, very stable and directly overhead.

Are these kites comparable to the Clipper (Dan Leigh)?

Hi Oscar,
I have been using this kite for yrs.Tried many other styles and sizes. It takes to the air easy as long as its near 10 mph and has a ton of pull.Mine is app 7 or 8 ft wide.
. I think it flies as vertical as Dsn Leighs in the right wind.

I have also used this kite for years. I like it better then the little bear and the downtown delta. Its my go to kite.

I've been using one (a 7') for a 3 years .My friend has a little bear and the delta goes up easier and out performs it all around. We keep it (the little bear)for a back up when we lose one.I think the leviathion cost 50 each. The regular deltas cost me $35 and they work good also.

I like my Levitation Delta but my Little Bear goes up in light winds that wont lift the Delta. My number one kite (When I use kites) is the Little Bear followed closely by the Whirlwind. The Levitation Delta is a good medium wind kite though.

I may pick up one to try, must be a good kite.
After I wore out my first little bear I got another, the new ones are made in China, I just knew that meant lower quality, and it was cheaper too. As of now it is the best kite I have flown, launches in light wind conditions handles high winds as good as any I have seen.
