I want to thank everyone for compiling such a wonderful amount of information. I have found answers to questions I hadn't yet asked! More to learn before I get farther into this. I've worked with Kestrels and a few RT's in the past but nothing recently. I'm interested in finding a general or Master class in/near the Alachua area of Florida, I don't mind driving, to spend time with learning and seeing if this is something I want to commit to further.I've taken and passed the test MANY years ago, but since then the regs have changed ie no kestrels and now you can fly Merlins and Broadwings. I'm keeping an open mind and looking to learn. I hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you

Welcome. There are a few falconers in Northern Florida that may be able to help. You have come to the right place.

Thank you Timothy! I'm reading alot on as many sites as I can find (books too) and holding questions, with most being answered in the reading ;) Loving the pics and stories. The regs have changed alot in the last 15 years so not getting in a rush. Made some contacts (Dot) at Lake City F&G, and in general enjoying the process :)
