(welc) Tim. Glad to have you here. I plan on a sharpie someday so your exploits are just up my ally. Please post pics and I love the term Pocket Rocket. I'll use that for sure when I finally get me a pocket rocket. Can't wait to hear your stories.

Hi Timdog,

Wales is a most wonderful country. I've had the good fortune to visit several times. Was in Carmarthenshire and nearby locales.

Glad to read your post. Welcome. I'm new here too. It's nice to have found a good group to hang with during off moments at the computer.

didnt quite see it happen but can only make the assumption that she clipped the wire going across the fence she was beneath after taking on a slip as she had only a slight feather displacment above her eye when i got to her and she was on the ground looking stunned then i picked her up and hurried back to the car and a bubble of fluid was clearly building up in her eye socket by the time i got to the car but there was nothing which i could do and she died infortunatly!
real shame too as she was a very good imprint, silent and never ever showed any aggression whatsoever!!

heres her on a kill with me helping her out.....

Sorry to hear it Tim. I hope you keep us informed of the next one. Chris has an imprint section on here just in case you want to keep some online logs. She looked like a great imprint from the video. Thanks for posting the pics and video.

Welcome Tim!

I may also pull a sharpie this spring if I can find a nest. I will be flying my coops in a week or so, if her dislocated toe is healed by then. So will be interested in hearing your imprinting method. I am going to try Jim's method that he used on Flynn and see how that works out if I pull a sharpie. Hopefully, we can be imprinting them at the same time and compare notes.
