Hi all, im dan. im from Manchester in UK.
I have joined this forum as I enjoy learning different methods of falconry, so I intend reading some of the forums and hopefully pitching in.

thanks all. I am flying a female harris named Iowa. she weighs 2lb 5oz hunting. She loves her rabbits and pheasants.

Interesting name for you HH. Glad you on NAFEX, maybe you can inform us on you Pheasant hunting techniques. HH are very popular here too.

She's my second harris. I had a male (called dakota, would you believe) who I had to retire as he was injured from squirrel bites. I don't hunt squirrel but sometimes you can't control what they go for. I mainly hunt rabbit using ferrets to bolt them for the hawk and only hunt pheasant by beating hedges and brash as she follows on.
