(welc) to NAFEX! Could you start the conversation by telling us a little about yourself? What bird(s) do you fly, how long have you been in falconry and so on. Others can then chime in! :) Glad you are with us, this is a great site!

Thanks. I live in South Africa and have been an active falconer for 2 years. I have a club female African Goshawk going into her seventh season. I've mainly car hawked with her but I want to get out in the bush.

I am assuming you are going after birds as quarry? What does the Goshawk catch? Is there some larger quarry out in the bush you with to pursue?

Yes birds are the main quarry. Some bigger like partridge but others smaller like mousebirds. I used to hunt Indian Mynahs with my Af Gos but I want try her in the bush. As I think the flights are better as you can see the whole thing.
