New England Falconry in Woodstock, VT is looking to fill a seasonal falconer position.
New England Falconry provides hands on falconry experiences to the public. The content of the sessions includes detail about raptor adaptations, conservation, permitting and history of falconry as well as free flying of Harris's Hawks to guests. Applicants will be expected to assist in all day to day aspects of New England Falconry. Including: Hands on education, cleaning, maintenance of equipment and facilities, training, and programs with the public.
Requirements: General or Master Falconer. Education experience preferred...but training can be provided.
Season: May to October/November
Compensation: Hourly pay, plus gratuities. Housing will be provided for duration of the season.
