My wife is trying to sign up as she is taking her test in a couple days. Every time we try is says the site can't process the request. Please help.

I've had this issue as well when I attempted to sign up a test account. I tried on both Firefox and Google Chrome using a MacBook Air.

The site is due some updates required by chris and he's currently off the grid for a while. Sorry guys!

Why would you need a test account Aaron?

I was trying to sign up a test account so I could PM this account from the dummy account and take screenshots for that PM work around guide I posted. When that didn't work, I got smart and tried PM'ing myself from my own account and that actually worked so I was able to take the screenshots without the extra account. Didn't realize I could PM myself or I woulda done that from the get-go!
