Hello, I am Christine, from Tucson, AZ. I am rather new, just studying falcons and hawks before I even start any official apprenticeship stuff. I've read through a few books (and will hopefully get the California apprentice manual & study guide soon) but there's just so much more I need to know! It will still be a while before I can even start thinking about getting a falcon/apprenticeship, being as I live in a college dorm. But it's never too early to start studying, and I'm always hungry for information (super excited to go start reading through these forums).

Right now I raise rabbits (working towards my rabbit judge license), pigeons (muffed ice and a few ultra-tame parlor tumblers I use for educational stuff) and quail. Hello to everybody, and I appreciate any advice. I wish you all good luck with your birds.

Christine,

Connect with the Arizona Falconers Association.
We have several members in the Tucson area.
When you are ready to move up their apprentice coordinator will help you choose a sponsor.

If you want to get ready for the written test I have two improved versions of the AZ regs. One is the regs verbatim, but with the horrible formatting of the original cleaned up. The second version is a concise but correct rewording. Things like where the original says "No (entire laundry list of eagles for the 9th time) I have just put in "No Eagles".

Regards,
Thomas of the Desert

P.S., I am also the Cheap Beep Project, so when you are ready to do a telemetry set I can show you how to do so at low cost.
