Hi everyone. I've been interested in falconry for, well more years then I'd like to admit. With a recent move I know have the land and the opportunity to become a falconer.
A number of years ago when I thought I could do it I took and passed the NY falconers examination, just never went any further. I have gone hawking with a few different people in southern NY a few years ago and greatly enjoyed it.
My plan is to study all I can this year, hopefully find a sponsor, and next year build my mews and get myself a bird. If anyone in the area is looking to sponsor someone or wants some help beating the brush let me know.
And I will be using the search button before asking questions that I'm sure have been asked 100s of times already.
