Hello,

We finally found a new fiberglass guy to make our bath pans. It is a dying art and although I know three who do it none have apprentices to take over the craft. Soon, and finally, we will have our original three sizes available again.

Question: What size, from rim to rim, and depth is appropriate for eagles? We will be making one especially for this group of raptors. We have to think backwards from manufacturing and even finding an off-the-shelf box for shipping.

Thanks for your comments.

David:

A friend gave this to me years ago as a gift. It may have come from you originally. I don't know. The fiberglass construction made it firm enough to lift, empty and fill again.

As you can see, it hasn't been used recently. I don't fly eagles any longer. This bath pan measures 26" on the inside top rim diameter and about 32" on the bottom, outside diameter. It is 4" deep from the bottom to the top of the rim.

I really liked it, in form and function. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again for a male or female eagle. I wouldn't change a thing.

All my best,
