It's cool seeing a bald eagle catching things other then fish.

The question is, how did it end? crazyy Was the eagle just knocking the goose out of its territory or was it actually hunting it? It didn't bind to it, so makes you wonder.

I saw this series on another venue. The photographer said that in this case the swan got away.

That is a great series of shots. A swan is a tough character. I had one attack me when I got too near it's nest in the spring. She almost beat me to death with her wings before I finally got her by the neck and flipped her on her back. They make a canada goose look like a play toy.

The eagle is grabbing the swans leg so I'm thinking the eagle thought it looked like a fish and was actually just trying to rob the swan.??
