I think it would be interesting to see a book and art forum. There are a lot of great books, new and old, and art.

I'm for that. We could do book reviews, etc.

As a keen book reader, I think it would be a great idea.

All for it. Books and Art. I would love some sort of 'Saint' Bavon' stuff for around my mews.

Any comments from anyone on some of the recent NA titles. Understanding Goshawks; Desert Hawking IV; My San Diego and her falconry. Or titles from elsewhere, like Goshawk: God made you eternal, from Spain.

Speaking of books:

The annual auction at the Archives of Falconry is going on now:

I went on a buying spree earlier this summer and bought all of those (and many more) that I had been wanting to read. Alaska winters are long! I usually read multiple diversified books and alternate them every few chapters. I've read about 15 so far this season and now I'm finishing up Querencia, Duck Hawking and the Art of Falconry, and Raising Susan now. Trying to decide what to read next...was thinking about My San Diego, Ravens in Winter, and Beiing Pigeon Whistles.
