Dean took this picture it is the finale of an action series posted in the longwing forums hunting action pics. I really liked this, and it was taken at one of my favorite spots [Caylor Prairie] on my birthday.

Lance Christensen was the breeder. She's pure peales. Lance was very picky about verifying genetics on his peales line. I believe her grandfather was pulled from a alleutian cliff. Her father was the last living descendent of that bird. She'll be going back into his project sometime.

Another picture by Dean. This was the only partridge we caught this year. They used to be fairly abundant here. Now I hardly ever see them. The flight on this one was quite memorable. I put the falcon up on speculation and worked an excellent stretch of cover that "always" has pheasant. I was about to give up when the dog ran up a little draw and got birdy. She locked up and I hustled to the point when the falcon came over I flushed and instead of pheasants it was a pair of huns. The falcon stooped the one that flew back underneath her so she did this beautiful twisting stoop with the classic peregrine J-hook. Her momentum carried her and the partridge up about 50 feet after the bind.

Thanks Larry, and welcome to this forum. These pics are all pretty much the same as what I've posted on the IFA forum, so you're seeing reruns.

Thanks to everyone else who's complimented my pictures also. I'll point out there is not a single one that I've taken. I've been fortunate to have a couple talented friends eager to photograph my birds.
