GOSHAWK PICS

just thought i would share a few pics of an old Goshawk that my Dad flew many years ago.were both accipiter freaks, but our rabbit flights are more suited for red-tails now-adays. the following pics were taken by a local photographer who has put out a bunch of books featuring his work. several have been books on local(Maryland) wildlife. anyway, i hope you all like 'em. we have these pics blown up and framed in each of our houses. the bird is long gone(asper) but the memories are VERY fresh. she was 8x intermew'd when she died....a really good bird too........

she sure was.....we had a blast with her in Texas back in '95 after we figured out how to hunt bunnies in that part of the country. weren;t too many briar patches around where we were. BUT, once we found 'em, it was game on.....
