The director of "The Lamar Q. Ball, Jr. Raptor Center for Wildlife Education" at Georgia Southern University was kind enough to let me snap some shots of this eagle, "Freedom." He was born with a crossed beak and is one of the only free-flighted captive Bald Eagles in the USA. It was awesome!!

There is another bald eagle being flown free at football stadiums. Its "Challenger" and that bird has been released back into the wild about 7 times and keeps coming back to humans. Now they have decided that its non-releasable. Its owned by American Indians I believe. My buddy just got his free flight bald eagle education permit and is currently looking for a bald eagle.

Statesboro is a long way from LV. :D Steve is a good friend of mine. He is a very good falconer too. He fly falcons in GA and from the number of people that do it well, it is obviously a great achievement. Did you see any of his artwork? WOW!!!!!
