I don't think I posted these in her log. I accidentally took the photos in a lower resolution than intended as I had just started experimenting with 16:9. But oh well...I just like her expression here. This was the beginning and end of one long, challenging but beautiful hunt.

She's out in the mews with a crop full of rabbit right now and well into her moult. I'm still hoping for a goshawk this year as well. I'd like to keep the redtail around because she has been an absolute joy to hunt with and I believe I can successfully hunt her and a gos.

Hi Bill...I've got some pretty cool squirrel hunts on video but getting hare flights is a trick.

As for the gos, I've got a basic "Plan A" for whichever age I'm able to obtain. I think I would love to take a very early passager but until our regs are re-written the earliest legal passage take here would be Sept 14. So far after approx 150 hours of searching I've failed to find a nest of my own. I've been saying that I hope I'm better at training them than I am at finding them. :) But there is still a lot of May left.
