Here are some pictures that a fellow falconer in the UK (Kevin Massey) took of the North America tent at the 2009 Festival of Falconry. He sent them to me so I could post them here for everyone to enjoy. There was also a tribute to Beebe.

thanks for the shots, sweetie. Know a couple folk that went over. Will definitely be slick to see all the shots they're taking. Had an offer to send Brandon over, but he had a job, so he said no..... then he got laid off/we'll call ya sorta thing. Man was he bent.

Well that just sucks!!! Brandon would have had a great time over there! I was supposed to go. All I had to do was pay for my plane ticket and the rest would have been covered. Instead I chose to spend my money to move to Colorado this week. Sigh.......crazyy:D

Mike Dupuy is in the fourth photo. He owns Mike Dupuy Hawk Food and is writing a book on Frank and Hal, I believe he was responsible for the NA tent. I sent the CDN Flag, some CDN Newsletters and 4 hoods for the display.

As Ken has already mentioned...Mike Dupuy is the only person I know in the photos. I am sure someone on here will recognize the others if they are American.

I saw the banner in the back entitled: "The Falconers of Hollywood". I sure would like to see the the entire banner. Neat.

It was cool,nice to meet & greet some(i was surprised how many were there!!..gutted that they were all asked to walk in the parade of nations,but Grant and Michele Anderson who are over with me were not asked tho!!.frus ) of my yankee doodle mates:D

And The Falconers Of Hollywood banner,we were all talking and i said they had left one off...impossible they said,!!..i let them stew for a bit ..then i dropped Hidalgo on ,um...:D

Gotta go..taking the Minnesnowtans to the seaside....:D

I cannot see the banner from the computer, but here are some movies that I think of now had falconry scenes in them: Becket, and the 1976 Three Musketeers (the one with Raquel Welch as Lady Constance), the Royal Tennenbaums. Lets start a list of movies with falconry scenes in them!!!

Neat, did they have text under each photo as to who the actor or movie it is in?

i think i know the shows that 6 of the photos are from. Top left picture, and far right (second and third from top) all appear to be from Ladyhawk. Bottom left is Hidalgo. And the one right above that one is from The Beast Master. The fifth columnbottom picture, not for sure, could possibly be Windwalker...or something like that. Anyone know any others?

bottom left is from "The Mummy Returns", I'm pretty sure, & bottom 6th column "The Vikings", Kirk Douglas..., bottom 2nd column, "Maltese Falcon" in Bogie's hands

Yes there was....however you cant see from these pics. They are all off the same Image hence no detail on the larger image.... soz

Who made the poster? Could another copy be made or a pdf of the poster. I'm just curious to see what is there.
