Two year old male Deutsch Drahthaar (Wirehaired Pointer) available for adoption. Very high energy and high prey drive, knows obedience commands, has been started on retrieves (water and ground) and flushing. Has been used during one falconry season. Has not been used on point but will be a good potential for someone willing to put the time and training into him. Housetrained, crate trained, neutered, leash and e-collar trained, good with other dogs. No cats. Wes Collins had him and used him with his Goshawk his first year, I started him on waterfowl work but didn't get very far (my fault, not his). We are reducing our kennel and would like to find someone who will put him to use as opposed to putting him in a pet home.
