I think 20 is great. I think each year more and more will come.

Soon NAFEX will have a field meet. Once I get out west I can plan it a little better. I am sure the same will happen, not a lot of people will show the first few. As time goes on, it will get better. I cant wait!!!

Actually the hood that I'm donating is probably too small for a tiercel prairie, they have huge heads for their relatively small frame. Now a tiercel peales has about the same size head as a tiercel prairie, as does a tiercel Harris.

Did any of you notice Donna Vorce's recent comment "Krys - tuesday eve is the general meeting (NAFA). I'd like to see everyone attend. It's 7pm at the meet hotel. Best, ________________Donna in Nebraska, USA "?

This is in direct conflict with the NAFEX Dinner. I apologize for raising this issue, but I'm sure we'd all like to attend BOTH. As your new NAFA DAL, I'm obligated to attend the NAFA General Meeting, and would really like to see the dedicated members of NAFEX attend if at all possible. Anyone have a thought for a solution to this? Is a later dinner time or date change possible?

Also, I will donate a Launcher Leash to the Dinner door prize pool. I'll give it to Krys when I see him in El Dorado in a few days.

No offense to Donna or Greg but this is the EXACT reason I choose this day for the dinner.

Not to get off on a NAFA related tangent but I used to go to the business meetings and it's usually dominated by one or 2 members grandstanding. Not worth my time to watch people bitch and moan. In my opinion we are lucky the board still puts up with it at all. Since I have not gone in the past few years I am sure things may have changed since.

The other reason is that historically it is the only night the meet team has the night off. Last year as rafflemeister there was no raffle that night so it was the only night I had free. Too bad the NAFA dinner was not that night as I was unable to attend.

The other reason is out of respect to the people that do presentations on the other nights. I do not want to take away or distract thier potential audience.

In short there is NO perfect night to do something like this DURING the meet. (The Comeaux fundraiser last year was Sat the day BEFORE the NAFA meet). No matter what night we pick someone is getting left out. I am sorry that leaves our NAFA directors out in the cold but it is not meant to be a snub towards y'all.

Krys, no offense taken on the rationale you presented for the night selected for the NAFEX Dinner. You are right on the "no perfect night" scenario. I appreciate your respect for the speakers on other nights.

As your NAFA DAL elect AND a fan of NAFEX, I was just hoping to find a way to attend. Tell me all about it later, especially anything NAFEX folks think would be beneficial for NAFA.

Chris I hope you don't mind but we gave the owner a set of NAFEX stickers. They stayed open late, put up with us, and never once complained. A tall order given our motley crew.

I would like to thank all of the sponsors again for sending such generous items for the raffle. I really appreciate the support. It helped make the NAFEX dinner great. There was plenty of items to give out and many members had smiles on their faces. Thank you guys for everything.

Thank you to all the members who came to the dinner and showed their support to NAFEX. This forum would be nothing without its members and it is a great feeling to see all of those who attended. I hate i couldnt attend, the pictures really helped see how it all went. It looks like it was a blast.

Krys, thank you for being the MC and organizing the dinner.. I cant thank you enough for volunteering for the job. The dinner could not have turned out better.

Looking forward to next years!
