Hey Everyone,

When I first learned about the art of falconry the concept literally blew me away. Since then I've been avidly researching more and more and was delighted to find NAFEX which has created a massive community of falconers to share their experience and knowledge. I am hoping to meet falconers in my area in hopes to accelerate my education on this art form as well as see it in action. I am not specifically looking for a master but simply folks who would like to show me the ropes and collaborate on hunting locations and the like.

Cheers,
Matt

Matt:
(welc) Find some hot rabbit field, duck ponds, sqr.wood or Pheasant field and let it be known and they will look you up. :D

Hi Matt! Find some bunny spots and I'm there :) But I'd be happy to come over and whack some squirrels too.

Very wise words Everet,

I've put together a few of the spots I've seen such game. Unfortunately most of the hot spots I know of are in Brunswick ME, my old stomping grounds. I've put in a little work since moving to Portsmouth NH in January but not quite as fruitful.

Matt:
You will want to sign all your post. You can go to the cp at the upper left corner and have it added auto. We are on a first name bases around, it just keeps it friendly. Good luck at finding new hunting spots.

Made great progress today. Attended the Rockingham hunting expo in Salem today. Met with the folks there that were all very friendly and helpful. They had a whole cast of red tails hanging out, definitely an awesome bird. Ironically I saw about 4 hanging around the highway on my way home. The highlight though was made contact with a General falconer that lives about 30 minutes from me. I'm feeling very optimistic things are going in the right direction!!
