Well
I´m in South Spain.
My two passions are falconry and hunting.
I have myself a hunting company in Spain, for hunting Spanish Ibex.
We also have a company for birds control in Andalussia.
I´m living in Granada, a very nice city.
I hunt with harrys hawk, redtail, booted eagle, sakerfalcon and a 7/8 gerXsakerfalcon.
What I really like are eagles, but they I want to have are still much expensive for my budget. I will wait.
Of course, if somebody will come to Spain, don´t hesitate contact me for everything. We have a really good hunt with birds of prey here.
From haar and rabbit, till red leged partridge.
We also hunt Ibex with golden eagle every year.
I hope to learn much in this forum, because falconers are always learning..........
Kind Regards from Spain
Alf

Hunting ibex with golden eagles. I would like very much to hear about that. Those are some good sized antelopes!
Oh, and we just LOVE pictures and videos!

HI, jfseaman
My name is Alfonso, not Alfredo
Unfortunately I have not a video of our Ibex hunts.
But you can see a nice video with the golden eagles to roebuck.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1EiLrBP3XQ

And to Zarafia, our Ibex isn´t too big.
You can catch maximal a 50 kilo Ibex, normaly females, youngs and young bucks. But I think It´s OK if you think you are hunting with males with 3 kilo (around 6 pounds), and females with 4,5 kilo.
There´s crazy people who catch roebucks with goshawks in 2 kilo, but I think they are very crazy. Too much risk for me!!

Awesome video Alf, thank you!
The roe deer are a very impressive quarry!
And a 50 kilo ibex is nothing to sneeze at. We have springbok where I go to school and I don't think that they weigh much more than that.
