Been a member for a while now.. Was just never active on the boards. So I finally figured that it was time that I post something.. I'm a picture person myself, so here are a few pics that I've taken since I started in Falconry.

First off, just a few Kestrels that I was scouting

These are just a few of my first trap.
It was a fracking cold day. 15 degress, and constant winds gusting to 20+ mph. Rightfully it wasn't a good day to trap, but we just happened to drive down this little road that was breaking the wind pretty well, and thats where she was sitting. Made like 4 sets for her, before chucking a pigeon out the wind, under her, as we drove under her.

This is Isabeau. After manning, and well into training, just before free flight.

I've had my butt chewed more times than I care to remember for this picture.. But in the end, it doesn't really matter.
I will admit, it's not good practice to permit this behavior, but it's also good sign that she was content enough to want to sit there, and even tuck a leg.

This Beautiful gyrkin had one of the coolest personalities. He was eagled at the end of the 2009 hunting season. A 24x36 print of this image, now hangs in the owners home.

This little lady was also eagled, and on her first hunt. This image, also hangs in the owners home.

Actually the Owl was caught in a live trap, that was intended to trap some other critters that were getting into a pigeon coop. But it was a chance to see a Horny Hooter up close and personal, so I figured I should capture the it.

I don't have any field shots of me, or my birds.. I do have some from other people that I have been out with. Trying to carry my photography equipment, and manage a bird at the same time is rather difficult, so none of me yet.. Perhaps this season.

All right, everyone can chill now. No more BS, no more cheap shots.

I'm sure in person we'd all sit around and tell lies and laugh and toast our birds and the game we chase, but get behind a key board and people turn into to self righteous nut jobs, myself included. Who cares if C.J. rather use initials, maybe my name isn't really Paul, so big deal. Go feed your bird.
