Hello fellow falconers, my name is Simon Etherington. I have been involved with falconry for approx 25 years.
I live in just outside Toronto , Ontario , Canada.
Most of my falconry has been with either Harris hawks and for the last several years Goshawks. mostly European Goses.
In Ontario, we are not allowed to take native birds from the wild., so many years ago my brother in law and I acquired Euro goses and have flow and or bred them since the 80's.
My reason for joining the forum is to see how other falconers are flying their birds. what new training techniques they use or what the game hawking experiences have been.
I also really want to learn more about eagle hawking. I have a pair we have tried to breed (rehabs) and would like to know what the experiece is like also.
I look forward to making new contacts and friends.
