Spotted and photographed in Indian Shores, FL. I believe there is an effort underway to recover it. More on that later I suppose.

My male prairie was recovered 400 + miles away. He was lost in Thurmont, MD in 1984 and recovered a month later in Burlington, Vermont. Traced to me by the serial number on his transmitter (LL Electronics). I am staunchly loyal to LL for that reason alone. ID tags were not available at that time.

Someone must have been surprised to see a prairie in Vermont!
