Once again, the Ohio Falconry Association will conduct its annual meeting and picnic, Saturday, Sep 18, at Highbanks Metro Park just north of Columbus on US 23.

All Invited to Hear Falconer Gary Brewer. All Ohio (and out of state) falconers are cordially invited to this meeting, featuring falconry author and red-tail expert Gary Brewer, coming in from Texas for our meeting. Gary’s presentations are extremely informative. Those who hunt with red-tails will learn important new methods.

Big Raffle. Gary is also bringing books and falconry articles for the OFA Raffle. Many others have contributed, to be prepared to participate.

Pot Luck Picnic. OFA will provide eating utensils, plates, cups, etc. for a Pot Luck Picnic; so we ask all who can to bring a covered dish, dessert, etc. Please bring your own beverage, with no alcoholic beverages allowed in the park. We will eat between 11:00 am and Noon.

Join or Renew OFA Membership. Anyone not yet a member of OFA is encouraged to fill in the attached membership application/renewal form. Or bring it to the meeting, where dues and will be collected.

Bring Cameras, Ask Questions. Bring birds (no dogs) and cameras, and ask questions and share information.

Division of Wildlife Regulations Update. New and future Ohio falconry regulations will be explained.

Election of Officers. As always at the annual meeting.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO —
Put the meeting date on your calendar (Saturday, Sept 18).
Attend the meeting, and join or renew at the meeting ($15), OR, simply mail in your dues (address below).
If attending the meeting, where possible, try to bring a covered dish or dessert for the pot luck, and a personal beverage.

WHAT OFA WILL DO — OFA has already arranged for the meeting site (which is very nice), arranged for Gary Brewer’s attendance and program, and will provide updates on new regulations, and more.
