Wow. That's a hungry peregrine!

No kidding! I've seen Ospreys chasing Bald Eagles and the eagles flew like they were feeling fear.

Thought they were supposed to eat sparrows.

Is it just me or is it a weird looking peregine. I've never seen a picture of a peregrine with the creme color, and i've never seen a wild peregrine that would let someone get that close [smilie=dontknow.gif]

Thats what i was thinking, or pere/saker or maybe even pere/lanner or weird gyr. Either way... looks way more like a falconry bird than a wild bird IMO

Yes ,this bird does look a bit like a falconry bird. Who Knows Maybe this bird was at one time. Down here in the Keys there is a huge migration with thousands of raptors traveling through. Yesterday at beach I was training my pup and peregrine came streaming across sky and just waited above me as I walked beach. He just stayed with me for about 3 minutes. It was the coolest thing I ever saw. He was just waiting for me or pup to pop up a shorebird or something. Thought maybe he had worked with a falconer before. COOL!!

No jesses, no band and the coloration is not that unusual.
