It was a beautiful afternoon by the Flathead River.

Unfortunately it was all over in 5 minutes but my hawk was happy and so was I.

Patch was a little disappointed but there is always next time.

Thanks, I like hunting there because there is no one there except the ranchers and occasional Indian hunters. Game is plentiful enough and lots of open country.

Hunting in solitude is one of life's great pleasures. The older I get the more I like it. Me, the bird, the quarry, and all that was created within my sight to be enjoyed.
