Hey John, How's it going? How's the trucking? I trapped a Redtail early November, it took me some time to figure out how to hunt cottontail here in Central Oregon, it's nothing like California. We had a terrible bad Winter with deep snow that made December a hard month to hunt at all. I tree hawk in Juniper forest and often just get to see pieces of the chase. My Ida hunts with all her heart, I think I've lost her today, she went after something the other direction, and if it's catchable, she'll catch it. I think she nabbed it in cover and we just couldn't find her. I thought I heard both bells once but couldn't find her. That forest I was hunting goes really all the way to Idaho. We'll search again tomorrow. Next year I'll invest in a used telemetry unit.
