Thanks for the suggestion. I am only about 1hr from Springfield. I'll definetly try getting up there in the next week or two (gonna let the temps cool off just a bit). About what time of the day are you seeing them?
If you have the time while you are out Friday swing over into the area of the Springfield Airport. I have seen a few nice size passage birds on the poles of the surrounding roads. Most of them are still staying low and in cover but a few of the bigger ones dont appear put off by the Hags in the area
