Hello Lupine, I am a resident of Portland and am purchasing a house, which means I will be able to attempt to become an apprentice. I am way past the "tire kicking" stage. I have done much research on the falconry lifestyle and am willing and able. My only problem is I've been completely unsuccessful in meeting and networking with other Portland area Falconers. I've tried the apprentice falconers forum and even the Oregon Falconers association website. Even their board of directors wont reply to my emails! Before i fork over the license/application fees I would like to meet at least ONE other falconer! please let me know if we could talk or if you have any advice...
