Greetings

Peregrine Petition Letter
We've talked a lot about our passage peregrine take petition and have been working on it for some time now. Well, here's the finished product. Please take time to read it over and tell us what you think. These documents will also be posted on our web site www.falconryconcervancy.org, along with additional attachments to the petition, supporting our position.

Many of our projects are done at no cost to the club, just hard work by committee members doing the research and putting together our position in the form of a letter or comment to FWS. Some examples of this are the hybrid comments and the Part 23 (CITES) comments to FWS. Other actions still require hard work by AFC directors and committee members but also sometimes outside legal assistance. I believe most of you will recognize this petition as a solid presentation of our position, but it required the help of our attorney Bill Horn and his assistant, David Lampp. If you agree this is a worthy effort and can afford it, we can use contributions. For so many of you who have already contributed to the effort, we thank you very much!

Bill Meeker
President, AFC
