    Hi Mike,
I read with interest your posts on harris hawks. I've read many times people talking about tossing a tid bit to the ground for them. Dosent the harris see the tid bit coming out of your hand and start to want to grab that hand as it now sees that ungloved hand as a food source? I'm also wondering about letting the new hawk catch and eat any manner of prey it may encounter in the feild, such as feild voles. One time I obtained a 3 year old male harris that was so focused on hunting feild voles that he let counltess rabbits run off without giving chase. It was very frustrating. It was so bad I ended up giving him away. Any thoughts on that problem? I'm asking as I am considering getting a young male. I'd like to be able to car hawk starlings and hunt bunnies. I'm thinking of getting a Coulson bird.
    Thanks,
    Ken
