Training is moving right along, She has great responds and comes when called soon we will be hunting.

Sofa she is training at 48.70oz. as of today she flying 50 feet to the fist and hits the lure like she is hitting prey.Making in needs some work but everything is going great sofa.Man she can rip in to some rabbit tiring and has great responds when called.

On Sep. 17,2012 trapped a 52oz. Passage Red-tail Hawk.

Still have my American Kestrel and hunting with.So far a bug killer nothing great has happen.

Had Zena out in the field in the A.M. she took off flying around as i went in the brown weeds and a sparrow flew out 5min. in the hunt. She took off after it the sparrow put in a mess of high dead weeds that grow around a log. She landed in a tree and screamed. I went over there and out of no where came a wild Kestrel giving Zena HELL .and then after forever it left and we went all over and no luck .Did not see anything so called her to the fist 5x and called her in from a tree far away with the lure . It was hhhooot to hot we called it a day.Got a little hunting and field training in Got Zena back so all in all we had a good morning.7/18/2012

Today Shera nailed #2 IT was a hard hunt.Weeds are high 5 to 6 foot high and that makes it hard to bind to the rabbit through the weeds.1 1/2 Hours of hunting many slip and she got her dinner.STAY STRONG

Billy sorry to hear about Ki-No, but things happen and we learn from them and try to move on. No I have not been out trapping I've been out fishing this weather was rough on all the wildlife but it seems that the fall bite has started. I'll go out trapping in the next couple of weeks, have not really seen any birds around but maybe some will move down with this double cold front this week? HUNT HARD
