I would like to order one of your transmitters but have no idea how to pay you. I live in South Africa.

I was just wondering if you got my last two emails about ordering a transmitter from you?

    Hi Tom,

Do you have a handle on any Cooper's nest where there might be some young. I am hoping to get my hands on a sore hawk and we cannot trap here during June and July. I would get an out-of-state permit, of course. Thanks.

  4. Dave,

I will send you a video. The Parts are intentionally the largest size I think practical. 0805 capacitors and diodes, SOT23 ICs. Any Hakko knock off temp controlled soldering iron will do. Hot air solder pencil added to the soldering station only raises the price $20 and is the good tool for heat shrink tube plus great for melting the ends on paracord and braided leashes (and the only decent way to get an IC off the board when it is in backwards). A stereo microscope is the council of luxury, but most folks seem to be able to built these things using a magnifying visor.

    Best Regards,

Hey, thanks! I'm liking this idea! I'm a pretty good at soldering. ..depending on how small the components are that I have to solder. I did surface mount soldering in college....but that was with pretty expensive soldering equipment and a microscope!
If it's not too bad...I think I could do it for sure! I have a Marshall receiver already. It would be nice to make a few cheaper transmitters to keep around. Possibly use for baggie pheasants that get away?
