Hey! What days do you normally get out and fly? I'm really only free on the weekends.

Hey Eric! Sorry for the late reply, havn't checked nafex in a while. I know Ryan took some great pictures of you and Pokie. I'll get them posted.

I made the decision to go ahead and release Morgana. She's all fattened up now and I'm just waiting for the fish and game officer to call back. I really hate to see her go because she turned out to be the sweetest little bird. For the time being though I just have to focus on school this semester and passing this darn chemistry class. I look forward to the day I am able to trap another merlin and get her going. Maybe next year!

I have spoken to a few people and I will be using a dead quail instead of a leather lure to work on the carrying issue. I had to run to Morgana the other day once she took a bagged quail (that she just wanted to carry) because there was a red tail hovering over her. She's so good about me running up to her and trading her off the lure at least! That's so cool that your bird back to the car. I'd like to see him fly! At least the weather is warming up!

Your welcome! My merlin is doing good. I'm trying to work on anti carrying methods! I think as soon as she catches a starling or sparrow she will just take off with it. I'll be bringing her to the meet.

Actually I am good on everything but the jesses. I did not know you had a falcon too. Another Anatum? Just put the set and check in the mail .

    Hi Eric,
I must have missed this last note from you. I made up the jesses, but it sounds like you would like a leash 32". do you also need an extender? I have been working my female peregrine to a kite and I think I will fly her next year and then decide if I want to get another falcon. It is a blast to watch the tiercels zip around the sky.

I'll do that.No apology needed, they have been great, he just bates alot. The length you sent is fine. I would like a leash that is about six inches longer.
Not to lesson the loss of your tiercel this winter, but do you have plans for another this year? Wish you could could count on a passage.
    Eric
