You should find a local shop that does spray on bed liners for pickup trucks. That stuff is indestructible and would be a great coating for your perches. Paint wears a lot if you keep scrubbing mutes off of it but the bedliner won't. If you give them
a perch and ask them to spray it the next time they do a job it probably won't cost
much either because it uses a minimal amount of material.
