Just realized I hadn't got back to you, sorry mate! I don't know of anyone selling the same goatskin that Jim Spohn is using. You might want to try Tandy leather factory's goatskin, though I have never used it so I have no idea how nice it is.

I am searching for a supplier of goatskin in the US for gaunlet making , can anyone assist in my search? regards Nick.
