Finished Bird Dog available

Archie is a four (five in May) year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. He is Steady to Wing, Shot, Kill and Retrieve. He is a super house dog, great with kids and other dogs. We haven't hunted him with the Harris Hawk to date but if anyone in the falconry world is interested we would be glad to fly her over him and finish him out for falconry too.

So far all of the inquiries have been from Canada and back east. I prefer to sell him to a family in the west as I would like to take at least a few days in the field showing his new hunting partner how to be successful with him. If not here in the west, someone who is willing to come out and invest some time. These kinds of dogs come about very rarely.

I'm asking $4000 (would have priced him at $6500-$7500 a few years ago).
